This is something that I will try and keep up on as well on a fairly regular basis, this is the first one:
On Oct. 2, 1967, Thurgood Marshall was sworn in as an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, becoming the first black to serve on the high court.
In my opinion one of the most important Supreme Court Justices in the history of our nation. We could use someone like him on the court today!
